Description: | | OBobby Floyd is brings his hard swinging hammond B-3 organ and piano talents to USF for the opening performance of the 2009-10 Monday Night Jazz Series. Bobby is an internationally
acclaimed performing and recording artist, based in Columbus Ohio. This is sure to be a bluesy, swinging evening with Bobby and the USF Jazz Faculty, with a grand finale of selections with Bobby
and the USF Jazz Ensemble I playing the classic "Night Train" and "Down by The Riverside" arrangements from the Oliver Nelson Big Band recording with Jimmy Smith and Wes Montgomery.
Faculty guitarist LaRue Nickelson will assume the role of "Wes Montgomery" for this performance!
