Artistic Directors Shelley Bourgeois, Erin Cardinal & Cindy Hennessy will throw a modern dance birthday celebration to open their 15th season in the Tampa Bay area!

The 2012-2013 Season opens with 15 Years of Fan Favorites! The concert was actually curated by Moving Current fans. The directors offered online voting of 12 repertory pieces of both their own and 
of past guest choreographers. The dances with the most votes won a place on the program! Fans voted on their favorite works by Erin, Cindy and Shelley and then two of their favorite guest 
choreographers.

Who won?!

Shifting Sands by Cynthia Hennessy, To Russell, with Love by Erin Cardinal, At the Round AND In the Moment by Shelley Bourgeois, a few more thorns by George Staib (Atlanta, GA) and finally, A 
Minor Form of Despair by Sara Sweet Rabidoux (Boston, MA).

Moving Current is a collection of dance artists led by artistic directors Erin Cardinal, Cindy Hennessy and Shelley Bourgeois. They have been making dances in the Tampa Bay area since 1997 and 
have had the honor of working with a stunning array of dancers and some of the most extraordinary choreographers. Moving Current is one of the Southeastern region’s top modern dance companies, 
founded to generate and channel dance into the Tampa Bay area in an effort to fortify our arts community and enrich our environment. In short, they love to dance!

Performing on the September concert are Moving Current dancers Joseph Akin, Marion Baldeon, Brooke Bradley, Katie Cole, Aly Coscia, Brian Fidalgo, Carrie Handley, Travis Mesman, Cardinal & 
Bourgeois.
