USF music professor John Robison and the Bay Baroque Ensemble present a varied program of early instrumental music from c. 1580-1750 on historical instruments. The program includes late Renaissance lute music from England, Germany, and the Netherlands, a solo archlute sonata by Giovanni Zamboni (c. 1718), a Concerto for oboe, strings and continuo by Albinoni, and a Concerto for recorder, strings and continuo by Telemann. In addition to Dr. Robison (lute, archlute, Baroque oboe, recorder), central Florida’s premiere group dedicated to the performance of early music includes guest artists Patrick Baran (violin), Kathy Johnson (violin), Valeria Frege (viola), and Keri Knecht Grosso (harpsichord).
