The Spanish Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) is the subject of this comprehensive new critical text, which reevaluates the artist’s body of work and his position to other Surrealists, and considers his continuing significance to international contemporary art.
Author William Jeffett, Ph.D., Chief Curator (Exhibitions) of the Salvador Dalí Museum, and Riccardo Marchi, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Art History at the University of South Florida, will discuss the text, its structure and content. There will be time for audience participation.
Dalí Doubled is published by the Salvador Dalí Museum, St. Petersburg. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by the author.
