Wandering by the Angle of the Sun
Jason Lazarus, the school’s fall semester Artist- in- Residence, is a Chicago based arties, curator, educator, and writer. His photo based practice has expanded to include public archive projects and
the use of impossibility as a medium. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago, the Bank of America LaSalle Photography Collections, and the Milwaukee
Museum of Art.
Jason will be reviewing his work from 2004 to present, including photography, text work, invisible
ideas, and a new feature length film project- all within the contest of new life for a semester in the infinitely complex and partly uncharted environment of Tampa, Florida.
